IMPORTANT: Mandatory Pre-Race Medical Check-Up for K3 ULTRA Participants

To ensure the safety and health of all participants,K3 ULTRA is introducing a mandatory pre-race medical check-up as a condition for participation.

1. Mandatory Medical Check-up Before Receiving the Race Pack

Each participant is required to undergo a medical check-up confirming they are in appropriate physical condition to take part in the race.
The check-up is mandatory and must be completed before collecting the race pack.

2. On-site Medical Station

Check-ups will be performed by the official K3 ULTRA medical team at the following times:

• September 26 (Friday): 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• September 27 (Saturday): 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Participants are strongly advised to undergo the check-up on Friday to avoid crowding, delays, or the risk of not being allowed to start due to time constraints.
The check-ups will take place at theCentral Medical Station located at the Start/Finish area in Zlatograd.

IMPORTANT: This year, the costs for the on-site medical check will be fully covered by the organizers of K3 ULTRA.

Athletes who are part of sports clubs and have already undergone their annual medical examination only need to provide an official document from their club or federation confirming the regular check-up.

3. Medical Certificate from an External Medical Provider

Participants may submit a previously issued medical certificate, provided it meets the following requirements:

• Issued by a licensed medical professional or certified medical facility;

• Includes a date, official stamp, and signature;

• Issued no earlier than 72 hours before the race start.

The K3 ULTRA medical team reserves the right to:

• Conduct an additional on-site examination in case of doubts regarding the document or the participant’s health condition;

• If medical concerns are confirmed and the participant is not allowed to start, the organizers willfully refund the participation fee.

4. Withdrawal Due to the New Requirement

Participants who do not accept the new medical check-up requirement have the right to withdraw from the race.
To do so, they must notify the organizers byAugust 31, 2025, via email atk3ultrabg@gmail.com.
In this case, thefull participation fee will be refunded.
